World's Most Expensive iPad $8 Million

The 24-carat gold, 12.5 carats of diamonds, $8 million, iPad 2

You're
fortunate enough to have iPad 2.  Congratulations.  But for those that
are still waiting to purchase iPad 2 why not grab the best, or at the
very least, most expensive, iPad money can buy?
That's correct, you and one other individual could be the proud
owners   of one, or if your budget permits, 2 (the only 2 every
created) iPad 2 models priced at $8 million (£5 million).
Yes, thanks to Stuart Hughes of Liverpool, the wealthy tablet lover now has access to an iPad 2 model, "iPad 2 Gold History Edition," featuring 70 ounces of 24-carat gold and 12.5 carats of diamonds crammed into the Apple logo on the rear of iPad 2.
Diamonds and gold aren't the only features contributing to the price
of this opulent iPad.  Hughes has added Ammolite, a rare and valuable
opal-like organic gemstone, to the front of the iPad, Tyrannosaurus Rex
bones to the bezel, and a home button with a  single 8.5 carat diamond
in a platinum setting, surrounded by 12 smaller diamonds.
As if the features and price weren't extravagant enough, Hughes describes his creation, in part, as follows:
"Undoubtably the world's most unique gadget is the Ipad 2 Gold
History Edition. Encrusted with 12.5 cts of 'I'F' Flawless diamonds, a
magnificent total of 53 individually set sparkling gems dwell
beautifully in solid 24ct Apple logo with rear section formed again in
24ct gold weighing an immense 2,000 grams. The unrivaled imagination
towards the craftsmanship of the iapd is down to its main front frame"
With that hyperbole-laden description, the price, features, and
exclusivity, no doubt someone with a ridiculous amount of disposable
income will purchase the iPad 2 Gold History Edition if for no other
reason than bragging rights.
