Takt Time Analysis

Do you remember what Takt Time is? We introduced this term in the chapter on Capability Analysis. Simply put, it relates to the Process Cycle Time.

The idea is to match your process cycle time as closely to your Takt Time as possible. But to do this you first have to calculate your Takt Time. Takt Time is calculated by taking your available amount of work time (within a certain time period)
