Position Description and Responsibilities:

Our client is looking for a candidate who has demonstrated the ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, high growth environment within the healthcare process improvement consulting industry. The Practice Leader will have full responsibility for continuing the rapid growth of our client in healthcare area as well as take their practice to a new level. This individual will report directly to the CEO and work with business development, marketing and our client’s global delivery teams to sustain their current growth in the domestic US while also assisting in their international expansion. Key responsibilities include marketing, business development, engagement management and technical materials development. This role will partner with the CEO and Director of Business Development as well as work with the leadership team in translating business strategy into business results.

This role will have responsibility for coordinating all marketing activities including the following:

  • Establish and implement a Healthcare business development strategy for the business
  • Prioritize and oversee marketing and PR related activities tied to the practice focus areas; develop partner relationships
  • Develop our client as a leader in Healthcare performance improvement consulting
  • Create white papers, articles and brochures for publishing in support of marketing needs
  • Set strategy for large engagements, oversee progress and maintain strong business relationships with key healthcare clients
  • Identify and qualify business opportunities, lead client development sessions that position our client for proposing effective winning solutions; draft and negotiate proposals

This position is based in the US, with up to 80% travel possible including some international.

Position Critical to Quality + Success (CTQ+S): Technical Behavioral Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or Healthcare Administration
  • Master’s Degree in a healthcare field (MPH, MPA, MBA, or equivalent) preferred
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma MBB certification preferred
  • 5 - 8+ years Healthcare experience
  • Executive level consulting experience
  • 5+ years experience applying Lean Six Sigma in healthcare
  • Record of success as a “change agent” with success in implementing Lean and Six Sigma principles
  • Project management experience
  • History of managing and being held accountable to targeted results
  • Proven capability to work with people at all levels of an organization
