Position Description and Responsibilities: Our client seeks an expert in Lean and Six Sigma to facilitate this business division’s global continuous improvement effort focused on creating a world class manufacturing environment. Solid experience with leading both Lean and Six Sigma integrated continuous improvement efforts in a manufacturing setting is a must. In this role the ideal candidate will deliver aggressive increments of OEE, yield and quality levels in our plants globly Identify and facilitate continuous improvement efforts in each one of the plants in association with the local Plant management to exercise step improvement in operational excellence. Create and implement a business system that shows program progress, plant performance against objectives and benchmark performance against best in class together with drivers of these values. Position Critical to Quality + Success (CTQ+S): Technical Behavioral Requirements BS Technical Engineering Degree Strong project management and plant turnaround track record Experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six-Sigma implementation. Experience in leading by influence and motivating a multi-layer team. Demonstrated change management track record, preferably including operations turnarounds. Multicultural awareness and experience Ability to innovate and communicate ideas effectively. Experience in successfully leading improvement programs in a manufacturing/operations context Position Critical to Quality + Success (CTQ+S): Skill/Ability Behavioral Requirements: Strong impact and influencing skills required to shape and lead the business. Persuasive and credible presentation style at all levels of organization. Strong analytical skills and process focus. Progressive, flexible and team oriented person. Strong project management Qualification and/or experience in Quality Systems, Lean Manufacturing Value Added Management, Quality Improvement Process philosophies, and QA, Safety and Environmental auditing. Understanding of Financial KPIs in manufacturing (costing, variance, ppv, etc…)
